next week is the lonestar shoot out (mopar race). On sunday they are having a MOPAR VS. ALL MAKES
bracket race.. I dont know what the purse is yet, but several racers have ask me about it. just curious who might go,,, I finally got my cuda back, race ready so ill be there for sure.. I will be there.The Dart is not ready but i will be bringing a 69 GTX.There will be a few of use coming from n/e Texas.

May not make it. Found water in the oil Friday morning at San Antonio when I unloaded the Duster from the trailer. Suspect blown head gasket. Will pull heads soon to inspect and repair this week if possible. Didn't appear to be a lot of water, radiator wasn't down very much, so I'm hoping there is no bearing damage. Just have to wait and see.....

Well, I pulled the head and head gasket was good, #4 cylinder wall, not so good. Looks like a small crack in the cylinder wall about 3/4 inch down from the deck. I have another block, will just take some time (and money!) to get 'er going again. Oh well, I've got all winter now to get the job done.

Jack do you have any information on the bracket race this Sunday. How much for entry and the payouts?

Got new rockers and a new shaft on the dart today so it looks like I'll be there Friday for TNT and if she holds together more. - Chris
