I just wanted to say its great to read about you and see that we have a lot in common besides our disease of Lupus. I have only recently been diagnosed and have been finding it very difficult and scary to cope with sometimes as I am still learning about it and what it means for me, etc. Its nice to know I am not alone in it and that maybe others understand how I feel. I came across your website while searching for my mom's relatives. My mother is Deborah Laughery (Smith). I am her oldest daughter Wendy. I know my mother has thought about you over the years and would love to someday see you. She has a few fond memories of you two when you were little and keeps a picture of the two of you sitting on the side of Grandma and Grandpa Covey's house. She cherishes that picture. I want you to know that my mother loves poetry and has a "secret" collection of her poetry, but refuses to share them with anyone. I thought it was neat to see that you enjoy poetry as well.
