Reward increased in prosecutor's death
DENVER, Oct. 7 (UPI) --
Denver police say they've raised a reward to $125,000 for information in connection with the slaying of a county prosecutor gunned down in August.
Sean May, 37, a prosecutor for Adams County, was shot in the head and the back as he returned from work Aug. 27, the Rocky Mountain News reported Tuesday.
"Someone out there knows exactly what happened and who's responsible," said Denver Chief of Detectives Dave Fisher, noting a man was seen running from the crime scene.
May is survived by his wife, who is pregnant with their first child, Fisher said.
