Perfeto Beda Esquibel Sr Born on May 27th 1948 to Joe Esquibel and Mary Sanchez in Wichita Falls TX. He went home to be with the Lord on July 24th 2020 in Whittier California. He attended Hirshi HS in Wichita Falls TX.
At 19 years of age he enlisted in the US MARINE CORP on May 26th 1967 and Bravely served in the Vietnam war. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant from the USMC on May 18th 1970.
Shortly after the Marines, He was married to Lupe Gonzales in Los Angeles California and became a father to her 5 children. Together they had two more children, Perfeto Esquibel II and Susanna Esquibel Perez.
During this time He also received Jesus as his Savior and became a lifelong follower of Christ!
With his G.I. bill He attended El Rancho High School where he earned his GED. He then attended Rio Hondo Community College and graduated with his Associates Degree.
After college he went into the business field and received his insurance license on Jan 8th 1977. He worked as an insurance agent in Pico Rivera, CA for 43 years!
He was greatly loved by all of his friends and clients that he served. (Some have been with him for 40+ years.)
In 1980 Perfeto Esquibel became a loyal member of Faith Tabernacle Church in South El Monte California, Pastored by David H Martinez. He served his church family as Mens ministry director, Sunday school superintendent, Royal Ranger Commander and also on the Board of Deacons.
Perfeto Esquibel ministered to countless people throughout the years. His gentle personality and listening ear was a source of strength and comfort to so many!!
He is survived in death by his children, Perfeto Esquibel II, Susanna Perez, Linda Napolitano, Ruben Canales, Richard Canales, Ronald Canales and Teri De La O. As well as 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
He is also survived by his siblings, Joe Esquibel, Martha Shutes, Estolia Lopez, Joann Agee, Marianne Rodriquez, Sylvia Espinoza, Carlos Esquibel, David Esquibel and Joey Messics.
He was a very faithful and loving brother who loved spending time with his siblings!
Perfeto Esquibel Sr Was a loving father, grandfather, friend and brother! He touched so many lives around him with his kindness and loyal friendship. He will be greatly missed and cherished. But we will see him again in heaven. Soon and very soon!!!
His life and legacy is one filled with faith hope and love. And the greatest of these is love!! We love you Dad!!!
