At the Royal Cornwall Show I was talking to Steve Perry the owner of the new museum at Davidstow and when he heard that we lived at Tintagel he asked if I had any photos of the large military exercise that took place just off Tintagel Castle Island in 1982.

I remember all the helicopters and Navy vessels at the time but have no photos.

If anyone has some photos of the event Steve would be very interested in taking copies of them to put on show.
