Web design can be a lot of fun. Using images can help convey a message {one picture speaks a thousand words}. I don't use software in any of my design, just pure html typed by hand. But being able to post a photo or image may help with expression a thought.

The code to link to a image is
<img src="http://www.the image you choose">

Its that simple. The image link can be changed to any image on-line. Kathy chose the link
to get this image

Place that link between the asterisks <img src="">

More visual than verbal here of late. Working with photos a means of outer expression of inner Self thoughts and feelings I suppose. Web design is fun although for me it's more tool than creative outlet hence an html editor, no in depth knowledge required to generate a site. Photography is the bliss station.
