For the past 2 nights I have dreamed about my dead aunt, she was lying in the coffin and comes back to life and then I dreamed about my cousin, He got killed and the cops couldn't find his body and then he comes home safe and sound! Please help

hi,
this may be a compensation dream,
something you thought was dead,comes to life,
something you thought was lost,is found,
not knowing your story makes hitting the nail on the head a bit difficult,

the symbology in the dream/dreams could relate to things actually going on in your life,which only you can associate with,
family members can be a metaphor for aspects or qualities within ourselves,that we need to become aware of,brought on by a specific situation we are confronting,
it might be useful to ask yourself ,what you felt about your aunt,and brother,do they have any qualities that you like or dislike,
sort of, what would they do in a particular situation,

other possibilities,
the aunt figure,
myth is full of these archetypal figures,
the aunt could be the fairy godmother ,or even the great mother archetype,
perhaps this interpretaion is worth looking into,
again based on what you felt for your aunt in life,

the brother figure could be the animus,the masculine aspects within your psyche,
the main theme to me in your dream was one of,
coming back,returning,
the feminine (the aunt)and the masculine (the brother)
the overall feelings evident must be ones of relief and joy at them returning to life,
as it would be if it happenined for real !
