My Dog Driving

We were all in one car...and my dog was driving MY car. He was driving in front of us and we were following. Suddenly, my dad feels like being in front and cuts him off. So I'm watching my dog as he has to jump up and down to hit the gas pedal. We finally stop and come up to a bunch of protesters. There were like, three different groups of them. I finally come to one and they're protesting a particular group of people. Suddenly, a battle breaks out and they kill all of them. So we find this field of what my parents called, 'People lost without bodies.' In other words, dead.

So then I'm in my garage and I'm trying to leave with my friend, and someone shoots something at one of the shelves and everything falls. I had CD's and stuff everywhere. While cleaning I found my old phone...which was very weird looking. Finally, I get most of the mess cleaned and I left.

What could this possibly mean?

Re: My Dog Driving

You may have strong family loyalties and a desire to be more independent from these loyalties. Totally normal at your age. The trepidation about gaining independence is also normal. What I also see, I think, is that despite this, you are going to take that route.

Hmm...I'm not sure...I mean, I love my family and have spent a ton of time with them this summer...but I'm not sure I feel strong loyalties. I'm sure I do without realizing it...Hmm....

Re: My Dog Driving

I just developed a slightly different take.
Part of you feels unprepared to take this journey you are about to embark on. This journety could be a mental journey. Your father, or your learned sub is trying to remind you that certain parts of this journey can lead you to death.

You are also a bit apprehensive about the aforementioned, this is why in the garage you were shot at. You may also feel like you are likely to run into trouble even at the outset of your journey.
Garages are usually the place where we begin a journey in real life. And like in your dream it is a place where we store things. This journey will chnge old ideas. It will shatter them abruptly.

Be ready.
