one more for good luck

This dream occured roughly 1 month from the first and previous dream I posted. With the insight that was gained from the last dreams, this seem to jump back into my memory.

There are four charcaters is this dream. Myself, my wife, and two people from church I dont know personally, but seem to catch my eye by there outward appearence. One a lady who comes across as a pagan/wiccan like person in her early 50s. dresses in black and seems like no stranger to energy manipulation. The third an older man in his 60's with graying white beard who seems to sit back by him self and be an observer of people. I take him for a hippie back in the days of Vietnam.

My dreams begin with me and my wife in our living room when the woman from my church walks in. Cordial greetings and we are all smiling and happy. Then my wife and she walks out the front door talking, laughing and smiling. So I go up the hall into my office towards my desk when I see the man from church sitting in my reading chair and watching me standing at my desk. I am comfortable with this visit and want to impress him with the my art work and books that adorn the room. I look down at my desk and see that it is messy ( which it usually is) and that there are this rubix cube type toys on my desk that are all solved in thier colors. I hurry try to clear them from the desk to make a better impression. The man doesnt speak and from what I can tell doesnt notice much of anything. Then there is a knock at the door and its my wife and the woman from church wanting to come in but the man from church is now in my chair in front of the door so it wont open. I am not bothered by this fact, because i am enjoying just him and I together. However i dont like to live people out of social circles so i feel the need to open the door.

Thats all I remeber, Would like to hear some interpertations to bounce off some of my own ideas
thanks

Whoops. The message icon was meant to be a yellow smiley face instead of a blue frown.

Re: one more for good luck

Matt,
My time has run out this morning {has been a very busy one with the dream posts, very productive, and enjoyable for me}. I will look at this dream later today.
Question. Does your wife share your new spiritual journey? Your wife seems to be prominent in these dreams and the relevance may provide clues..

Matt,
I'll provide an interpretation tp your dream in the morning. Another day of slaying dragons ahs left me 'intuitiveless'. To force an interpretation would not be fair to you. My intuitive mind is best in the morning hours.

Re: one more for good luck

Matt,
Let's begin with the second part of your post. Knowing you have found a new church to attend my thoughts are you are analyzing your may and wanting to fit in {to make a better impression}. Although you feel comfortable with your move there is still some conflict. This is a complicated matter {rubix cube}, trying to accommodate your spiritual needs against the past dogma laced attitude of other religious experiences in your life. But the good news is you are willing to give it a chance {I am not bothered by this fact, because i am enjoying just him and I together}. The statement about {enjoying him and I together suggests you are comfortable with being not only with these new spiritual people but also comfortable within your own skin. This new experience is a positive in your life.

The first part of your post. I believe the people in this dream are representative of your own attitudes of being different and perhaps a bit anti-socially driven {doing what you are told to do by society. The dates are from earlier decades and they may point to experiences from those times that influence your thinking in the present.

Overall the dreams seem to be addressing your spiritual search and the comfortable feelings of finding acceptance {and you accepting them} from a church. These are very positive signs {UU church did the same for me}. Discovering people with like minded spiritual beliefs is important in finding that balance and harmony in life.
Now you can spend more time on the 'inner' search having put one important aspect of that search into perspective.

Gerard,
when you wrote:

I could'nt agree more.

Just the last two nights I have had vivid dreams that seem to point in the same direction.

One dream included two knives one was given to someone that I pick up that wasnt mine and another that was a little golden purse but a knife at the same time. It wasnt mine and I felt the envy of a thief as I put into my pocket. I was telling myself I would give it to the owner later.
The second dream- a old high school friend had a waist full of knives around his belt. This person all of sudden wanted to buy this gold watch I was wearing. I told him no because it wasnt mine to give. He keep on bugging me to get the watch. So I eventually had to leave.

The dream dictionary makes this all to clear. Cutting of the old and in with the new. With the new being positive with the color gold. Though the feeling with in the dreams were of uncertainty.

Any thoughts you might add?
It seems like the same ol' meassage with-in the dream.

Re: one more for good luck

Matt,
Knives do often symbolize 'cutting' away aspects within a life. If it fits with your waking life the here is a good bet you are headed in the right direction to understanding these dreams.

The uncertainty. The impressions within a dream usually reflect actual waking emotions.
"Although you feel comfortable with your move there is still some conflict.".
The rubix cube suggests this is a difficult matter. That may be due to the actual difficulties or may be a result of your own indecision due to inner conflict. Which do you think best fits? That may provide insights to what direction you need to take.
