My mother dreams almost everyday that she is trying desperately to save her cats and the dream always ends without a disclosure.
Sometimes, she dreams that they are lost and she is looking for them, but she never finds them.
What does it mean?

Cats are members of the feline family and may represent your mother's own psyche {she is the cats}. There may be some aspect in her life that needs saving, some emotional experiences in her life. Being lost may mean these aspects are buried within her unconscious and the psyche is naturally looking to expose them to her conscious mind for a healing to take place.

Dreams are therapeutic and help sort out those emotional issues that are unresolved. Dreams speak in metaphors and symbols {she is the cats}. So her dreams of losing her cats would represent losing parts of her emotional self. It will take a lot more of her dreams to understand exactly what emotional issues she is in need of resolving.
