This was a brief but vivid dream.

I was in a sex club with my real life (now ex) partner. I was not that interested in the environment but noticed my (ex) partner "nibbling" at my ankle - which I took to be sexual. When I looked down there was a hard boiled egg between my partners mouth and my ankle, and he was eating the egg off my ankle quite erotically.

Strange - yes?

The sexual aspect most likely is a straightforward symbol. You are no longer interested in your ex-partner as a relationship but the sexual aspect is something you miss. Or perhaps missing in that relationship. The egg may suggest a desire to explore 'new' possibilities in your sexual life. Sex is important in the foundation of who we are as humans and you seek new directions, and support {ankle} in those feelings. Perhaps the relationship with your ex overall was bad but the sex was very erotic. Or was it the opposite?

Spot on - there was no intimacy in the relationship....and yes, i found the sex erotic - or rather I discovered erotic aspects to myself that I miss exploring.

I regard my ex as having a sexual addiction - and he was unfaithful, which is why i left. So it is more that I miss the discovery of my own sexual eroticism than miss my ex....whose sexuality tended to go on without me.
