Last night I dreamt my father-in-law had two of his teeth in his hand and told me "here is two more". Then I pulled open a drawer at my parent's house. In the drawer were teeth. He dropped the teeth in the drawer and I said something to the effect "Not there, those are my parents'.". He picked out his teeth and put them somewhere else in the drawer.

I have found interpretations of dreams where the subject is about your own teeth falling out, but nothing about other people's teeth falling out.

Some background info. My father passed away over 8 years ago. My father-in-law lives with us and we live over an hour away from my parent's house.

The dream seems to be addressing some aspect about your father-in-law placing himself in the same capacity as your parents, particularly your father. There may be a need on your part to process this aspect and may have some opposition to it. Perhaps he has a place but not in the same capacity as your father.
Has there been any experiences of recent that may fit with the above?
