my nephew his having a re-ocurring dream of being trailed up an alley way and shot he cannot see who shoots him and does not know if he die,s ,it is really bothering him could some-one tell me what this means thankyou

Getting shot in a dream is symbolic, not a literal experience, and often represents self punishment of some kind. He may be feeling guilty from something he did prior to the dreams and this is 'trailing/following' him. In other words his conscious is bothering him.
