Likely the black mark on the floor and the black mark in your dream were co-incidental. Unless you are attuned to psychic phenomena I would think that is the likely case, co-incidental.
The dream is most likely is focused on some recent emotional experience involving your mother. The black mark could symbolize an imprint on your psyche and along with puddle of blood {emotional energy} on the ceiling {thinking self} I sense shared aspects you have with your mother. But she ignores the negative and you need to express them.
In summary I would look back over the few days prior to the dream and look at experiences with your mother where there may have been some type of conflict. You are probably a lot like her but in those shared aspects you wish to overcome where as she tends to ignore them, make light of their importance. Hard to define it simpler words other than you share traits with your mother but unlike her do not want to ignore the negative aspects as if it is not important. Being like her in this aspect scares you, you want/need to be different.
