I dreamt that my paternal grandmother had died a year earlier (she is currently alive) and me, my mom, my brother and his girlfriend were all at this really old house with a cemetary in front There was a dark shadow in the house that creeped me out. I can't remember all of it but we were in a room with a big room on the 2nd floor and it was about 3 am. There was a really REALLY big full moon with a red ring around it in the front over the cemetary and all of a sudden, the spirits of the people in the graves all stood up and were standing on their dirt piles. They stood there for a minute watching the moon and then they flew up into the moonlight. Then we heard a knocking noise and we went to go investigate and we found my dad had hung himself in the bathroom. (my dad is currently alive) This dream was very disturbing and I do not understand what prompted it or what it means as I was pretty content prior to having this dream

Let me work on this dream. My time is limited this morning and I try not to rush an interpretation. There does seem to be something the dream is trying to communicate that has been 'buried' {cemetery}. The old house and deceased grandmother may point to something in the past {old house and dead grandmother, even though she is alive, both point to something that has passed} having to do with experiences associated with her. Or she could symbolize an old aspect having to do with the feminine parts of your psyche.
Something that 'creeped' you out. This may be pointing to something benign from your past that left an impression. Or it could be pointing to something deeper, an issue that has been buried that has a deeper influence on who you are and your life. Can you think of any experiences from the past involving things that 'creeped' you out?

The part about the moon may be important and I want to examine that more to see where it leads. Moons with red rings may have symbolic references to do with deep emotional patterns. Or it could simply be a reflection of an emotional event that has a simple explanation.
