A covenant is an agreement, a contract. Since the dream mentions sinful it may have religious/spiritual associations, a covenant with God or your spiritual self. The floor is your foundations {think of childhood experiences/influences that govern who you are as an adult}. Playing cards is taking a chance at winning/losing. Some part of you {room} may feel guilt because of something that may be considered sinful. Following your man may suggest you are following his lead in some aspect of the relationship.

Look at your waking life and relationship and determine where the above possibilities to the images in the dream may fit. The dream reflecting your true emotions. Although you may be able to cover up them consciously, unconsciously, if there is a conflict involved, they will remain until the conflict is resolved. That is what dreams attempt to do, resolve emotional conflicts.
