two chase dreams

Hello again!
Here are a couple of dreams that seem important to me, although since I've started to look into dream analysis I get very exciting and meaningful ones every night. :)

First dream:
7 June 2014
Keywords:
- lightning powers
- jewelry shop
- constructing some toy/object
- Mercury planet
- elevator, chase, flight

In this dream I have the power to electrify things to defend myself. We are being chased by unidentified chasers (it;s more like a feeling) and there’s my brother there with me and perhaps a friend. I touch different objects that seem dangerous, like old blank paper that just sits there apparently harmless and the threat is neutralized. Although I am not sure it really works - that’s the limitation of my power. Knowing my power is great (lightning) but has a limit is reassuring because it makes it more real, more plausible, that's what I thought. We are in this mall-like shop on some intermediate floor (2 or 3) and trying to escape some people, it feels like an action movie. I go up around the elevator to this jewelry shop. the action of going up seems like spiraling and it doesn't involve stairs. At this jewelry shop there are two blonde female vendors and a lot of brooch-sized gold flower jewels on display (on golden shelves). I am looking for smaller ones like earrings for myself and eventually I find them. Before that I am building this toy object by picking up constitutive parts or polymer clay from shelves in this other mall shop that is located to the left in a naturally lit area. When the animal is done, I see that there was already a giraffe for sell on a high shelf among others and I have this thought: "Oh, it was already built, why did I bother? Oh well." Then I have this great "Dune" movie like vision of planet Mercury that resembles Jupiter in its gaseous turmoil but has a grey color. Seems like a powerful entity that I am drawn to, a dark force spinning in space but also there with me, giving me strength, a secret force. Then there’s the aquatic green glass elevator shaft once more and this time we go around it, spiraling again, descending in a flight, being followed by dark ninja-like men that are not frightening per se, but more like part of the plot. At the same time there was this short scene of a vividly colored cartoon character, like a hologram trapped behind this green thick glass. Although its in distress, I don't like its monkey features and extreme emotionality, so I ignore it, continuing my descent and implied entering another area or leaving the current one.
Then the alarm rings and I wake up.

Second dream:
9 June 2014
Keywords:
- superpowers
- floating over a volcano crater with sparse water lily
- school friend and me in my kitchen talking about my job/ex boss
- Japanese businessman fleeing + elevator and driving away

This dream feels like an adventure. It starts with this community of youngsters I am part of, perhaps teenagers. Each possesses certain powers. It turns out I can also fly and I’m crossing this swamp-like pond that has a small amount of water lily buds about to bloom. This pond is in some sort of volcano crater we've descended and I am proud of my ability of flying. Someone approaches me and asks me if I have a “spatial-temporal ability” and I ask what that is. I am being told it means one closes their eyes and gets transported to another place by simply visualizing it. I try but cannot achieve it and I realize I would need some help. There appears this dark clad superhero that I don’t see the face of and he hugs me from the left and flies upwards with me towards the ceiling. Feels like we’re in this closed, mufti-leveled concrete parking space (grey) and he wants us to go through the ceiling by means of the spatial-temporal ability. At first it doesn’t work but the second time we break the concrete and ascend through the roof. Then I find myself in this place like the outside of a foreign planet where several heroes are gathered. A girl and a boy (I become the boy) have the same powers, as in both can swing this organic morning star and that makes them relate to the other. Then I see this young man that I previously was from the outside. He’s very pretty, young Asian with long hair (something like Keanu Reeves). I remember touching his face to put some hair behind his ear. Then there’s some sexual stuff about me fingering (his?) ass. This is truly embarrassing to mention but maybe it is important to understand the meaning of the dream. I am very pleased by this activity because it's clean, pink and there's lots of space to give him (and myself at the same time!) pleasure. Then the scene moves to my kitchen that is also a work space with people and glass walls. I am with my school friend (her name is Ema and I have mentioned her in my other school dream) and we’re looking over some work papers to analyze them. We have to meet with my ex-boss and I ask her how come she works in the same place with me. She says she did work but I haven’t noticed her. I am aware of her psychic power to influence people and I tell her to influence my ex boss (we have a plan). But we must be very careful because there are other people with powers that are after us. For example there’s this one coming out of a glass elevator that can change and double its shape. I take the glass elevator and go on the top floor of the building (10th) there is this suite pertaining to a Japanese businessman. It was daytime so far, now it's going to be evening/night. The Japanese businessman's flat is not big, maybe because it's a work apartment. It has about two rooms. I enter the first room that is all messy, dark colored man’s clothing everywhere, on the bed, on the floor. He has a wall full of books and different items too. I suddenly become this businessman myself! And I realize I must hurry because they’re after me. I am around 50 yrs old and have a son whose photos are framed on the book shelf. I want to flee without taking anything. I am somehow aware I’ve bankrupted my big business and need to run. But I still pick up money I find in books, keys, this phone with charger attached to it, this big wallet. I am telling myself I would need a phone and business cards so I can call people I am interested in. Contacts seem very important since i will be out of reach. Then I get this black and white coat on too, put the wallet and telephone in two plastic bags (which I store one in the other for convenience) and leave. I have the sense that my son is in the other room (he’s in his 20s) and I don't take all the money, just in case he needs it. As I go to the elevators there are 3: a big one in the middle and 2 smaller ones aside. They’re glass and I can see through them. I take the one on the right thinking it's broken and nobody will accidentally stop me on the way to get in and discover my escape. I want to go directly to the parking lot underground. The floor of this small elevator is composed of a big slab and smaller pieces that barely hold together. They’re like made of solidified magma and look rusty. I step in carefully and press the metallic unmarked button under P (P = "parter" means ground floor in Romanian). As I go down, the elevator's floor retracts so much I am only holding myself in two fingers suspended over the shaft but I don’t see the bottom and it’s not tiresome or particularly frightening. I get into the parking space and look for my car. It’s dark and there are people and cars driving around and I ask myself: "How can I find my car if I don’t know where it is?" But since this is like a movie situation I will sort it out. I do find my car which is a very advanced sports car of grey color(something like a less smooth version of the Lotus). I am very satisfied to know I have such car. The car is already on, with interior lights on. I want to get in through the right thinking Japanese cars have the wheel on the right but to my surprise this its an European model so I go round and enter through the left. It’s odd because the car seems to be animated, ready to leave without me if I am not fast enough, but once I sit down it’s only a car and I am in control. It leaves in great speed and I must break (although I have no driver’s license so it’s a wonder I drive without crashing). I turn left in the night time city, then right and it seems like it rained. I am relieved cause I’ve escaped!
Then I wake up and it’s 10 am.

As a side-note, recurrent themes in my dreams are lately about escaping, fighting small threats/animals by means of superpowers, couples, driving a bus, going fast by car or skying down a dangerous slope.

In the hopes that I haven't bored you much with details, thank you for your time and helpful insight!
Cheers!

Re: two chase dreams

Zelkova,
I'll analyze the two dreams separately since both are long and involved.

The first dream seems to be pointing to a desire or need to reach higher levels in your life. Here is what I get from the images.
-A need for power/ability to impress as a defensive mechanism but has limits.
power to electrify
-Ability to achieve these powers when used constructively {you possess a good personality and need to build on that}
-A need to neutralize negative aspects.
-Something within you is holding you back {look to early life experiences/influences}.
-A need to elevate yourself {elevator}
-Shopping for self worth, reaching a higher level {jewelry shop}
-Constricted by inner aspects {again, traits from earlier life manifested in adult life}
-Limitations from emotions of feeling useless
-Being 'bigger' than you are {Mercury resembling Jupiter}
-Possessing unconscious knowledge that allows you excel when it is realized/acknowledge
-A need to descend to the depths to understand the dark forces that control your emotions {important aspects of who you are}
-Illuminating the unconscious aspects into conscious understanding so it can be recognized/acknowledged {hologram}
-Aspects about yourself you do not like due to the emotional energies they possess
-Ignoring these aspects when they should be acknowledged
-Entering a new 'inner dimension' so to leave the old self behind
-The alarm is more than the machine that awakens you. It is an alar within you trying to awaken those aspects that need recognition so you can reach those higher levels in life.

Compare the above to your life and see how it fits. I sense there are issues from earlier life that are holding you back and you have yet to acknowledge these properly. You possess special skills but are unable to utilize them because of the emotional energies related to these 'unconscious' issues.

Let me know your thoughts and then perhaps we can gain more insights from the dream. They may reveal more of the unconscious energies that are at work. In the meanwhile I'll analize your second dream.

Re: two chase dreams

Thank you for taking the time to interpret my dream!
I must say that the alarm was a real thing which woke me up, it wasn't in my dream :)
As for the things that hold me back from my childhood, I could venture and say that I didn't have enough love from my father. He shunned all emotion and personal involvement. He only cared about ideas and debates and imposing his will, so I saw him as cold and tyrannic. I yearned for his affection but he didn't know how to give it. Perhaps I have the same tendency to reject all emotional display, seeing it as weakness, and sometimes I feel bad or empty and I don't know why. It's some sort of existential dilemma. Again what I dislike about myself is that I don't seem to find my way with a certain artistic expression, something to be considered my own "style". Perhaps there's no need for a style. I don't know, I have to think it thoroughly or simply not take it so much at heart. Thing is, the person I admire and who has a good career from art-making insists that I develop a style and that I should work on my own and only on the stuff I want to make. But even so, it is very hard to do that and be so single-minded. I'm a team person and most of all, doing only what I want feels like putting my fantasies out for the people to see... But I want those hidden, I would be ashamed to make the art I really want. As a teenager I tried to do that but it was ridiculed (also by my dad and brother) so maybe that's why I don't trust my own voice.
Sadly, my father passed away a month ago. It was a shock to all of us, not just because of the previously unknown medical condition, but also because we finally started to rekindle our link...
I had pretty awful dreams soon after.There was this bunch of cows tied together in a very small pen, so tight they couldn't move and afterwards they change into naked women with large scars across their bodies, crying and crowded, tied with some sort of sharp chain. In my dream this chain proves out to be a necklace of my uncle's girl-friend. And when asked about the sharp blades attached to it she says (in my dream) that it's normal for her to prefer sharp jewelry and shows me more similar chains hanging in her closet. In reality I don't like this woman, she is two-sided and doesn't love my uncle at all: she smiles in your face then gossips behind your back. Also i had another dream with the main images being a severed right hand and 3 white wolves seated side by side in an empty dark train moving through a dark desert.
Anyway, if you still want to tell me about the second dream in my post, I would be very happy!

Thank you!

Re: two chase dreams

Zelkova,
I would focus on the non-relationship you had with your father {non-relationship in he wasn't a father who provided the needed love and acceptance a child should receive}. That will likely provide answers to your personality trait as described in your statement, Perhaps I have the same tendency to reject all emotional display, seeing it as weakness, and sometimes I feel bad or empty and I don't know why. Early life experiences/impressions, especially with parents, are the key to unconscious motivators for actions and traits in adulthood. Your father didn't know how o give you the attention you desired/required/deserved and you are imitating those actions {I did much the same when I was a young man, not having the father relationship I needed so much to develop a balanced psyche}. It is difficult enough in today's material world to open up to the artistic aspect because our culture's are so focused on the outer things in life. Those things are only temporary. Not until we discover our true selves can we find harmony in life. And that requires the 'inward journey' the psychological investigation to discover the unconscious motivators of personality and actions in adulthood. You will find it hard if not impossible to find your own style because there are unconscious energies that are blocking your 'view'.

Your statement, I'm a team person and most of all, doing only what I want feels like putting my fantasies out for the people to see... But I want those hidden, I would be ashamed to make the art I really want. As a teenager I tried to do that but it was ridiculed (also by my dad and brother) so maybe that's why I don't trust my own voice , I'm a team person and most of all, doing only what I want feels like putting my fantasies out for the people to see... But I want those hidden, I would be ashamed to make the art I really want. As a teenager I tried to do that but it was ridiculed (also by my dad and brother). Why is it you would be ashamed of making the art you really want? Is it because of the ridicule by family? Fantasies are an expression of what is really inside and if you keep the creative aspects bottle up you are holding in who you really are {of course anything that is harmful to you or others, something due to psychological neurosis, would be different and may require therapy}.

As for the cow dream. It could be the cows represent nurturing aspects and those aspects are penned up to the point you can move {this would be from a lack of nurturing as a child}. The change into naked women is exposing the unconscious energies that motivate your psyche. These have caused emotional scares. Your true self is chained to this inner aspect. The necklace would symbolize unmet emotional needs {the neck connects the body and mind, unconscious and conscious self}. Your uncle's girlfriend would likely have something in common with you, something you share with her that relates {uncle} to your psychology. She has similar chains in her closet {which could be a statement of cat pertaining to her life}. Her response about the sharp blades is your own attitude {why you want to keep certain aspects hidden?} due to the emotional blades you possess. The woman you do not like is you, the hidden aspects you can not/will not let out. The two sides are the opposites of who you are on the outside {not letting your true self out} and who you really are on the inside. The gossip represents you are doing something that will hinder your progress in being your true self.

You may be able see the pattern here if you will think of how your early life lacked the sufficient nourishment of love, affection and attention in early life. These negative imprinting become motivators for personality and conscious actions later in life. Again, I had very similar issues in my life and it was only when I discovered what they were {a father abandoned my mother and 4 kids} and once I discovered those unconscious forces and began to neutralize them I no longer was held captive by them. What you don't want to do is repress the energies because they will no only continue to unconsciously control your life the energies could manifest themselves into something even worse {neurosis or even psychosis}.

If you want to post the about the empty train do so. It may reveal in more detail the unconscious energies in your life. Dreams play out in a series, a process that takes place when working with your psychology. Each dream can offer something new and when it comes together your dreams will begin to be positive because your life is once again on track to wholeness {nature's intent to begin with}.
