Short dreams are difficult to analyze since there is so little dream images to analyze {dreams use a language of symbol and metaphor and the images/actions provide clues to emotional issues you have in life}. Here is a possibility to what the dream may be trying to communicate.

A mall parking lot may suggest you are in a position where you need to exploring an emotional issue{s} that is currently in conflict in your life. The movie theater may suggest a conscious effort is needed t better understand why this is needed and/or why it is an issue {dreams are \'movies\' about your emotional life}. The older male would be either a real person in your life or/and a wise masculine aspect that needs to be or understood {all dreams have at least two interpretations/applications to do with your emotional self}. The car lights {the car is you} are a focusing {shining} on this masculine aspect. Not wanting him to see you may suggest you do not want to recognize this emotional aspect. Walking by may also point to an\'avoidance\' of this issue.

The two possibilities are
1} There is an issue to do with an actual older male that has caused a conflict of your emotions. You are currently focused on this issue and there may be aspects you wish to avoid {emotional issues}
2} There is another issue that requires a wiser masculine effort that needs to be better understood. This could point to personality traits where a utilization of these qualities are required. You may lack these masculine qualities which, if true, may lead you to make unwise decisions. You would be unconsciously avoiding aspects in your life because of early life experiences/influences {possibly to do with the older male/father}. You are motivated by unconscious forces because you do not possess these necessary qualities. One thing that would cause such a condition would be not having a good father relationship early in life. without this you would not have learned these \'skills\'.

Does either or both fit with your life. If could be both since dreams do have the two applications I mentioned. If there is not an issue with an older man {other than the possibility of the continuing relationship with your father-he could be the older man} then look at the second possibility. The masculine qualities within your psyche would be symbolic of the older man. But that would likely point to under developed qualities which could be due to the relationship with your father or another man from your early life {making that man an older person from your past}.

A lot of possibilities to what the dream is trying to communicate. If you have another dream that you remember post it and perhaps that will provide more insights to this older masculine aspect in your life.
