Here is a great article at MSNBC. We’re hard-wired for geometry. I find it interesting that the study used primitive people for the experiment, providing the data that can be scientifically documented. Jung's archetypes are first traced to the primitive mind of early man, he tells us the knowledge is inherent in all humans. For me this discovery of innate geometrical senses makes the archetypes even more credible. What was thought of as only a metaphysical possibility is found to be true scientifically. But of course such discoveries really don't surprise those of us who study the psyche. Our sources of knowledge have spoken of these truths since the beginning of time.
