a rooster asking for my help

my dream was about a rooster who was about to die...the rooster asked me to save him while he was on a cement block...the cement block was a swing which was swinging back and forth. there was a little fire on one side and his feed in the middle. well i helped him and was able to set him free. what could this possibly mean.

Re: a rooster asking for my help

A rooster symbolises dominance; think about a cockeral/rooster strutting around his teritory on a farm, keeping all his hens safe and in check.
It suggests a part of you that would like to be more assertive and have more control perhaps...

He is on a concrete block - which is probably a pun, your subconscious is using to imply a 'block' in your personal growth or understanding; you'd like to develop this assertive, more dominant side of yourself, but something is standing in the way. The fact that the rooster is on a swing, could suggest quite a few things, here is a list, in fact, from the dream dictionary on this site;

Something that is allowed freedom of expression
The ebb and flow of life, tuning into life’s rhythms, being in the swing of things
Something that is fully operational, in full swing
Something that is pacifying or comforting
Manipulation e.g. swinging a deal
Something in your life that is suspended
A fluctuation or deviation from the norm

Related symbols: jazz, music

Obviously you need to think about these symbols and decide what they mean to YOU in your OWN life - symbols are interpreted generally, but sometimes mean something different to a person who has a signifiance with them in their waking life.
