On Monday night I had a very vivid dream about a friend who was overdue to have her baby. She was due to be induced next Monday and due to previous experiences and family history she was certain she would have to be induced. This Monday I dreamt that she went into labour and that the head of the baby was out but nothing else. I awoke after alerting her husband (in my dream). When I got up that morning I had an email from her husband telling me she had the baby at 4.30am. I was awake and wandering around my house at 5am after having the dream. At this stage I knew nothing more but after visiting her tonight I found out that the baby got stuck - the head was out and the shoulder was stuck and there was a bit of an emergency for a few minutes. All was well in the end but I am totally freaked by the fact that I dreamt what was happening as it was happening. Has anyone else had this kind of experience and can you explain it??

Your dream seems to be a synchronistic dream. Why such dreams come about is not completely understood other than the psychic energies involved. The relationship with your friend who gave birth is important. But there is probably a connection to your own psyche that coincides with her 'birthing' to a new birth in your life. Is there some aspect of your life, especially one that is new or forming, that seems to be stuck? It may be a matter of thinking too much {head stuck}.
