i think this dream, as short as it is on info,
is refering to your self esteem,
obviously being your ex ,what happened still has some hold on you,
he still has you pinned,
if you were to have the injury to your face as in the dream,it would make you lose your self esteem,
ie my face is disfigured,i am not pretty anymore,
nobody will want me now,does this ring any bells?
i may be off the mark,but i would think it has something to do with your inner feelings now, regarding past trauma.
