Help to Identify...

I have a friend who has a tractor.... Thinks it is a homemade, but I wonder..

It has a Model A engine/Trans and rearend. The rearend has been narrowed and has 'double reduction' gearing on the axles. It also has a front axle that is different from others that I have seen. It is not a single horizontal axle, rather has rather two arms on each side, going to the spindle of each front wheel.

Could this be an early Speedex????

I'd love to include a picture, but .... He is about 50 miles away.

Take a look in the picture section of this site for FG"S both highboy and lowboy.You will probably see what you are looking for there. If you can post a picture it will help. Good luck
