we have a s-24 that was running great till a diaphram in the carb wore out and we can find parts locally. we dont want to replace the whole engine because it still runs ike a charm. the model i pulled off was 243434-0652 briggs engine.its been in the family a long time and would love to keep it that way!

You can go on line to Jacks small engine site and using the model and serial number, find a carburator kit.The carb will have to be taken apart and cleaned and put back together with new gaskets. Be sure to adjust the float level. Blow out all of the passages with carb cleaner and be sure that the float is not oicking up gas because of a leak. Good luck
