Well put Jack. If that didnt show the powers of Lonestar the bracket racers dedication and their want to have a bracket program at Lonestar then they cant be pleased. I would imagine they were pleased with car count. It was great to see racers I hadnt seen in a few years also. Looking forward to a program next year hopefully it works out.
In 30+ years of drag racing that was one of the best nights of racing I've had. That had to be the Woodstock of drag racing! It's been a long time since I drove a racecar at 3:00 in the morning and my 11-year-old grandson was up until 4:00 winning his Ironman in junior dragster. He decided to stay up in a lawn chair with his Ironman and watch the sun come up! I don't think that we'll ever top that night. Also, we never would've made it without Terry Coldwater.
