This is great news, but is there any way we can get some form of commitment from the owners? We've had our spirits picked up and then dropped again and again and it's just hard to be sure it's not happening again this time. Some of us have to use up valuable and limited vacation days to make these races and once we commit, we cannot change those dates. I want to race for an IHRA team more than anyone, but don't want to risk starting up the season and then the brakes get slammed on us.
I agree with Rowdy, we have to have some kind of commitment from the track. Need some set dates that the track will stick with and not just change at their convience. I appreciate what Gary and Jack are doing and I hope it works out cause I will be there, but the track has to be willing to commit.
Myself and Jack will be getting all the details to you all as soon as we can , showing how they can have a way to be cost effect will be paramount in doing this we are working on a sponser for a commitment to minimize expense . We have a workable deal for them !
Man, just look at the few different names on this message board. Jack, Rick, Gary,Bobby, Brain! This needs to happen one way or another. Hey guys any news on if we are going to get a bracket program going at Lonestar in 2012 ? I know it's January but feels like spring,, ready to get the hot rod out.. ( with tracks closing around the state in many cases for lack of suport,, ) we have what seems to be a commited group ready to run and support the Lonestar track ! Please tell me some good news !
