Very sad news. Bruce Davies MBE – a 1RAR (first tour) and AATTV Vietnam veteran (two tours), passed away on Sunday 8 November. As an author, Bruce wrote “The Men who Persevered” and “Vietnam – the Complete Story of the Vietnam War”.
Bruce was a friend and lived close-by in Point Lonsdale, VIC. He will be missed by many.

It is a walk down memory lane for me when I visit the AATTV site from time to time as my Dad Jack Roughley was an original member of the AATTV and was in SVN 1963-64 and the again in 1966 as The CSM of A Company 6RAR in the Battle of Long Tan. I am very proud of my Dads contribution to our countries history. I also wish all the surviving members of this fine unit a great and happy life and great fellowship.

Captain Desmond J. Wilmore, RA Inf (Retd) died in Noosa on Friday, 26 June 2020. Age 72.
He served with AATTV in 1972.
