yes....my late sister "MONA WILSON"....was a person that had more rights than the next foreigner and she was murdered for that....society is more sick than we can ever imagine....my sister had a family and had kids just like you...we are all to blame for her death...so i ask? what are you doing to aid yourself and your community?...we as a First Nations community are making our future safer for everyone....PEACE...jay

My heart goes out to the familes who have to go through this. I was not close personal friends with either terrilynn or cheryl ann but I feel that there should be no one that has to go through this. families involved are devastated. Terrilynn's body was recently found by a duck hunter just off Eskasoni, no arrests have been made yet for the perp who murdered her. Atleast her family may have a little closure now that her body was found and that they were able to give her a proper funeral.

thank you amber for directing me to this site. I have been reading it for over 2 hours now and have marked it in my favourites. Its a site worthy of remembering and certainly of reflection. It reminds me as we hear of the many injustices happening all over the world - there are a multitude of them right here at home. Its a very eye opening site you have. Continue on with your work to make people aware of the injustices done - and to help bring closure to many. It has to be comforting to their families and friends to know that these women have NOT been forgotten. Hi, am finally able to visit your site. My daughter Terri Lyn and I have some Cree in our blood. Terri Lyn was murdered in 1981. Her murderer also killed 10 other children, some of them if I remember right had Native ancestry. Clifford Olson was captured and sentenced and should be able to leave his prison in about a couple years....I pray he never leave. I am happy to see that you have done such a good job with all the information about the Native Women. The ones that Robert Pickton is accused of murdering, will start his trial ( after 3 years waiting ) sometime this month. His farm is no longer there and they have cleaned it up and plan on selling the property for individual homes. The farm is 2 miles from where I live. Thank you for being here for all who need you.

Thank you so much for your website, it has allowed me to find my niece Lynn & her sister in Ontario, who were adopted when Mary-anne Costin ( Medwayosh) was murdered.On the posting, the date of her death is incorrect, it was 1981, not 1991. I would like to give you more information about my grand aunt Thelma Pete. My aunt's case isn't solved. The two men are still on trial. She was missing for four days before her murder. She was murdered at the Kamloops Christian School on Tranquille road beside the North Shore mall in Kamloops. Then after that she was taxied from there to a suite in a royal avenue complex. The next morning the black man ran to the friendship centre by the 7-11 on the north shore by robo car wash and had blood all over him. There is still other people who abused her and by standers... Its sad how people don't confess even though they know a family is hurt. Please post this information. The two that were captured were sentence from first degree murder to second degree murder JUST because they pleaded guilty. I think this is an unfair sentence especially for my aunt WHO was MURDERED cold bloodedly to be given this. I think she deserves more than that and I will fight for her until they get a longer sentence. The case is still unsolved because there were still people who watched her be killed. Thank-you and I hope this will help in solving her case.

Thank you for all the information that is posted about our beauitful Native women whom are losted or stolen from us. Wannita Wolfe was my niece who we (her family) miss each and every day. My girl did not have to go back into that house. She and her so-call friend was in the her car about to drive away Wannitta just droped off some young people, that she did not know before this night, at the house where Donald Blind lived. But Wannitta when back into the house and got those people and they got into her car as they drove away Blind aimed his high power rifle and shot. that bullet change our lives forever Wannitta was my sister's only daughter. Wannitta was and still is loved very much.

I was not aware of so many losses until I moved to Sask. Last year. Some of the comments from the legal arena shocked me. It shouldn't matter what background nor what profession your in you are human and deserve the same respect as everyone else. I knew about how unjust and coloured blind the Law is but I didn't realize to what extent. I study the Stonechild death. I was horrified by what I read. I am not clear why we think native peoples are throwaways in our society. the more I educate myself on this the less I understand. Words cannot describe what I am feeling right now. We are all equal in Gods eyes why can't people see this. My prayer is we find the missing and bring to justice the ones who are lost. The cry of the natives from their graves is being heard we need to listen and get justice. God Bless everyone

This is in regards to my Aunt Reberta Ferguson, by what i remember of her she was a loving woman that only wanted the best for people and family,she is out there somewhere or at least her body and our family prays for her everyday, may the angels be with you Auntie

In the city of prince albert there are alot of missing people i know of. No one cares for these people and no one does anything. Flyers are distributed by some one in the city. i have a missing Grandpa, went to his home reserve and has never been seen again. A hooker downtown, whom was a very kind woman, just vanished and no one will listen to the people down town because they drink do drugs and hook. i dont know their names yet, but i will find out. Its niceto know that people care for these people who have everything that is nothing. The police in this city look down on Natives and no one has experienced that more thanmyself. i think this factor has something to do with this......i see people go missing on the news everyday.....except these people. If i went missing, i know for a fact that i would never befound.....my family would look and thats where it would stop. i Pray with every fiber of my being that we all get along so that this doesent happen so often, we need to take care of each other......not all cops are bad, a hooker is a person who is human...drugs dont make u less of one either. i could go on 4ever.

I have been looking for someone for about 10 years. No one seems to know where this person is. Where can I go to post a missing person, or is that what I should do. She is a Native women, and many of her family need to find her or want to know what happened to her. Her birth name is Genevieve Marcella Lambert.
