I have been breeding zebs for a couple of years. I have just had a fawn female & a CFW male produce a clutch of 3 chicks, which appeared to be penguin colourations, and all of which had white beaks. Unfortunately they all died within a day of fledging, possibly because they were ejected too young so the parents could renest. I can't find any info on the white beaks and whether this is a genetic flaw. Can anyone help?

Australia, Tasmania

Do you have any comments?

I'm new to Zebra Finches, just got myself two males. But I'm building an aviary and will soon be a breeder. Anyway, would like to know if there are any more breeders in Tasmania, it's hard to find. Also, come on! Zebra Finches are OURS there native to OUR COUNTRY and practically everything you can find on the internet and the library is either American or from England. I'm not standing for this, It's time to take over the Zebra Finches!!! lol Do you have any shows in Tas? Because I don't have the funding to ship myself to the mainland... Anyway, I've got Zebra Finch Obsession spreading down here, both my best friend and my cousin are working up to breeding.
