I am the third great granddaughter of Wilson Crockett, David Stern Crockett’s brother.

Wilson is mentioned many times in old books as being Davy’s brother. I was raised to believe he was and so were all my elderly Crockett family members. I’ve look for real proof for years, but cannot find any. You list him as #95 in Crockett Geneology on your pages. Can you share any information with me?

I was always told as a child that we are related to Davy Crockett? However, I have not been able to make the connection. From my research, My ancestors lived in Kent County Delaware at least in the 1700-1800s and cant seem to find much info on them. I am a from the Allen Taylor Crockett family in Wythe County Va. My Mother was Effie Ruth Crockett, daughter of Joseph Paul Crockett and Granddaughter of Allen Taylor Crockett.. The original farm in Crocketts Cove / Wythe County is still in our family today. I find it quite interesting that my family and I lived in Harrogate 1980-1989. As with most here, I too, was told of being a decendant. However... My information is not panning out. I'm told that David Crockett had a sister named Susan Busch (sp) Crockett. He had a set of spoons made for her which have been handed down through the family and is now safe in my brothers house. As I have not been able to locate any information regarding her name, I am now coming to the conclusion that my information is incorrect. Anyone heard of this name? Can anyone point me in a better direction? Much appreciated for your time and attention.
